Retunrs for Orders with Multiple Items
I am dumbfounded on Amazon's inability to process a refund on an item where only some items were returned
Case: We sold 8 of an item, priority shipping and signature confirmation (USPS of course). The buyer decided they only one one of the item and returned the remaining 7. We submitted a Safe-T claim for reimbursement on the shipping which was over $10 outbound and once again the return envelope had inflated weights so we needed an adjustment there.
Amazon's response: we have already processed a return for this item and we are unable to process any more on this order.
In other words, once the return label on a FBM return is scanned, it is impossible the get any kind of reimbursement (item missing, wrong item returned, etc). This of course is why we have Safe-T claims. They charged for the 1 item that the customer kept but why are we ineligible for any further disbursement? Is it because there were multiple items? and how does one get their allotted refund in this case?
