Address Verification Issue non US Resident

Hello, I registered my account as an individual, however I opened a company in the US and changed all the information (tax, address, legal entity) to the company, however when I go to verify the address, they say that I cannot change the business address, however my home address is no longer the primary address, since I am using the company to conduct all the business.

To make matters worse, Brazilian customs is on strike and it is taking 2 weeks to release the address verification postcards, during which time Amazon detects that the address was wrong and automatically cancels it. So I cannot verify my home address, and Amazon will not let me send the postcard to my business address.

And exactly THAT is not allowed. You can NOT change the "Legal Entity" of a seller account. This is considered transfering an account. And transfering an account is not allowed.

Your ONLY hope is now to change ALL again to the credentials you used when CREATING the account. Then a verification will follow again with a postcard sent to your private address. Then your account should be reinstated.

Then you wait 90 days after your last sale (in case you had sales) and you can properly close that account. Then you wait two weeks and create a NEW seller account with the credentials of your US company. Hopefully there is a physical address, so the new postcard of this new account can be received by someone....

Where did you hear or see that you can change the owner of a seller account?
