Dealing with Repeated Fraudulent Orders and Impact on Seller Account Health

Dear Fellow Sellers,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing on behalf of Sbgt Surgical, an active seller on Amazon. We have been dealing with a recurring issue that is severely impacting our seller account health and causing significant financial losses.

A particular customer has been repeatedly placing orders on Cash on Delivery (COD) basis and returning empty packages. In our efforts to prevent further losses, we have been reporting these suspicious orders and cancelling them. However, our cancellation rate has increased, and we are being charged high cancellation fees.

We believe that our only fault was to consider Amazon's interests along with our own. It is disheartening to see that instead of being supported for our proactive approach, we are being penalized. This is not in line with the fair treatment we expect as sellers on Amazon.

We are reaching out to this community to seek advice and understand if any of you have faced similar issues. How have you dealt with such situations? Is there a more effective way to handle fraudulent orders without negatively impacting the seller account health?

hello sir i would really want to help you out from this situation i am also a seller on amazon i would like you to try some of my principles which i follow every time first you report suspicious order second try to make video while packaging without a single cut on video and when your product is returned try making a video of unboxing so that this will thoroughly help them to scrutinize their hub and reimburse you asap.

We are facing fraudulent ordering & fake reviews repeatedly. Amazon is very customer centric. They dont mind loosing a seller but they would never want to loose a buyer. We have more than 10 specific customers who have been using our products free of cost since years. They place order, apply for replacement, change both products and then apply for refund. They have repeated this pattern more than 5 times in 2yrs which clearly explains what is happening here. Even after marking those specific orders with Amazon, they have a standard copy paste reply which they send saying that the customer is genuine. Which genuine customer orders same product six times in 2 yrs, requests for replacement and then requests refund after receiving replacement. Amazon is not place to make profits. It's just a business card that a busuiness needs. We have never ever come across a single seller who has made profits on Amazon. It's Just to keep an online presence. Nothing more.
