90 Random ASIN/SKU combinations created in our account on April 22nd at 3:53 AM -- has never occurred in 15 years of selling -- All have SKU name same as ASIN

Has anyone else had this happen?

2 nights ago at 3 AM, we had 90 listings created in our account at 3 AM. All of them had the SKU set as exactly the same as the ASIN. We've been selling for 15 years on Amazon, and use only in-house software I designed. This has never occurred before and is pretty much not technically possible.

Of odd note, the SKUs were all created in brands we have Brand Registry for -- none of them were for non-BR brands (even though we have thousands of non-BR skus.

Oh these were all duplicates of existing ASINs in our catalog as well -- meaning they were for items we actively sell on. They were also all created within about 2 minutes of each other from 3:53 AM to 3:55 AM.

We opened a case and their only response was telling us how we can delete unwanted SKUs -- no discussion at all on how they got there or why -- just "if you would like to delete ASINs in your catalog, here are the steps"
