So here is the deal. I run my dad's amazon account. but want to start my own private label amazon account. I live at the same location as he does.... I will be using a different bank account, different email address, different phone number. (but they are the same address on them) will this cause an amazon account suspension?

The two accounts will be associated, and should share nothing at all beyond physical address.
Nor should you sell the same sort of items, best if entirely different categories.
And know that any problem with either account will "infect" the other. I am assuming that your father's account is in good health. If otherwise, definitely do not open an account.

Before you start, do you have the documents required? If you don't have a utility that is in your name, I would go ahead and switch one over so that you are ready when Amazon asks for it.
