Trying to get ungated in Marvel, but keep getting the same message

Hi,

Would someone at Amazon please assist with my issue?

I have been trying to get ungated in Marvel. I seem to be in an infinite loop where I can't get past this email message:

"Hello,

We closed this case because you have submitted applications multiple times without providing new, updated, or required information. To appeal this decision, reply to this message and provide new documents for us to review. Do not submit a new application.

We value your participation and hope that you will continue to sell other products in the Amazon store.

We're here to help

If you have questions about this policy, please contact us at:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/cu/contact-us

To view the full list of requirements, log into Seller Central. Under ‘Catalog’ tab, select ‘View Selling Applications’ to access the Selling applications dashboard.

-Amazon"

I spoke to Live Chat and they were unable to help me.

This my latest Case ID: 16553505361

I replied to the email message with the proper Invoice and picture of the 10 items I bought. Nobody from Amazon gets back to me.

Marvel is a brand known to cause selling problems on Amazon.

Do not attempt to sell without a letter of authorization -- which Marvel is not going to supply.

Did you send your written permission from Disney authorizing you to sell Marvel branded products on Amazon? If not, send that it; that will help get your authorization process. Without submitting your proper written authorization from Disney, you'll never get anywhere.

You don't know how selling on Amazon works. Selling any brand you need:

1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.

2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". And an authorized distributor is a company authorized by the brand owner.

Good Evening @Seller_EOT8aqEj7TebF,

I just wanted to highlight that the guidance @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl, @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw and @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC shared with you are all valid and may help when it comes to getting your selling applications approved.

With that being said, I have gone ahead and collected your applications for Marvel and shared them all to one of our partner teams to review. In the mean time, please review the following help pages for sourcing and invoice requirements when applying to sell to ensure you are providing the team with the requested information:

Here is the list of the requirements for sourcing documentation:

Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured

These documents:

  • Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
  • Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
  • Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents

Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.

You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.

Additionally, a letter of authorization can also be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations (as all 3 seasoned sellers mentioned above). If you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.

Lastly, linked here is our Seller University resource that addresses Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell.

I will follow up with you once I hear back from the team reviewing your case. Until then, have a great rest of the week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Evening @Seller_EOT8aqEj7TebF,

At this time the feedback the applications team is providing you at this time is correct: "We checked the information you provided, but it did not pass our review. This decision is based on many factors to help ensure a good shopping experience for our customers."

There are categories, brands and specific products that require approval so our customers can shop with confidence here on Amazon. Unfortunately, they weren't able to disclose any additional information regarding the review process.

The other approach you could take is if you have a relationship with the brand, would be to request they add you to their list of approved sellers through Brand Registry. Once that has occurred you can attempt to list again and if you still have any issues reach out to support letting them know you are now in the brand's Brand Registry approved list.

Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the information shared above. Have a good night.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
