Good Luck with return item not delieverable and Amazon still issued refund

I got an item that the buyer need to return. Amazon will just refund it since the buyer dropped it off at UPS. The item won't be able to return back to me since the buyer did not pack well. I filed The Safe T claim and got denied. See attached image. This is the second time with the same response, which they did not take time to look into the case and just copied and pasted to the response.

Amazon has trained buyers to just what you experienced. Buyers know they will be refunded as soon as the return label is scanned by the shipper. So they poorly pack the items in damaged boxes or with a loose return label, and just leave the item with the shipper. Of course, the shipper scans the item so they can collect the payment, and somehow the item is never received by you.

Sorry to say, this is just one of the many scams you will face in the future that Amazon has no interest in stopping.

Hi @Seller_3bJhBxdxRDyXl- thanks for sharing this experience here on the forums. In these situations our teams do request claims get filed with the carrier for any lost returns. Have you looked into filing such a claim yet? In case it helps, here is the FBA customer returns policy so you have it handy!

Best,

Danny
