Seller support just keeps saying the ASIN is ineligible which is completely untrue because all other ASINs in the same category have a BSR.
I've been the best seller for the past year now.

I'd watch out for the shady sellers that contact Amazon and say your product(s) is in the wrong category and they suggest another category so you lose that category's top spot and they then attain it.
That has happened 3-4 times for us over the past few years. Sadly, it takes MONTHS and 30-40 hours of work to get someone from Amazon support to help switch your parent and child ASINs back to the correct original category and you lose out on A TON OF SALES over those months. :-(

Amazon just doesn't care, or they would have addressed problems like this years ago.
Anytime you contact seller support about a listing 99% of the time they suggest you just create a new listing. Of course they don't care that it has taken you over a year to build that listing with happy customers and advertising money.
I steer away from variants just because of this type of situation. It would be great if Amazon simplified the variant process, but, it has gotten so complicated, you need an engineering degree in rocket science to get it right.
I have a suspicion that even Amazon doesn't really know how to solve the problems that arise. AI and the coding is so overwhelming that basic seller support cannot do anything.
Black hatted stuff has been happening forever and it is never really addressed or solved.

There are a few reasons a Sales Rank might disappear but the a common reason is a conflict in categories inside a variation. If you provide your most recent Seller Support Case ID I will review to see what options I can offer. Thank you for your understanding.

Conflict of variation browse nodes or no browse node.
You'll want to open a case and ask for it to be forwarded to a member of the Catalog Team and ask them to assign a product category and browse node. If you don't have either of those on your child asins and the parent if a variation listing, you're not going to see a sales rank. If you didn't create the listing, and the seller that did, deleted their contributions, or if a seller uploaded a flat file incorrectly, or a million other reasons why listings break, then you won't see a sales rank.
