What has Amazon done to protect sellers?
Hello,
I have some products. I enrolled to Brand Registry (but my Brand is pending on USPTO). So I can not report a violation some sellers is hijacking my ASINs.
But what has Amazon done to protect legitimate sellers? These Hijackers are selling a completely different product than the one clearly described by us.
We have spent a lot of money on: Branding, Joining VINE, Running PPC ads to attract buyers...
However, one day - other sellers jumped in, selling a completely different product that I could not report because:
1. I could not use the Report a violation function in Brand Registry because my Trademark was in Pending status.
2. Using Report abuse of Amazon policies: I will immediately receive an automated email from Amazon with the following content: "Thank you for your report of a suspected policy violation. We cannot take action on the report as no violation has been identified on the reported [ASIN] for the violation type selected."
3. Contacting Support Team: Does not resolve the issue.
So, how do I protect my brand while waiting for the USPTO to grant it?
It's devastating to see your business being destroyed every day by dishonest sellers.

Hello @Seller_TiTAUbxQB0qX8,
This is Josh from Amazon. Thank you for contacting our Forums!
I understand your frustration regarding the challenges of protecting your listings while your USPTO trademark application is pending. Since this post is from a while ago, I'd like to know if you're still experiencing these issues?
If you are, have you contacted Seller Support about this specific situation? If so, could you please provide the case ID? This will allow me to review the details and potentially offer more targeted assistance.
If you haven't contacted Seller Support yet, I recommend doing so as they can review your specific situation and provide guidance on available options for protecting your listings.
Best regards,
-Josh
