Error 5461: cannot add new products to an existing brand

Hello guys, l'm new to this I started listing many products for a brand but I always get the error 5461. I have a signed contract with the supplier that I can sell his products. I have the list of upc for every product but for some reason, I'm not able to add any item to the brand. Any help will be much appreciated!

I have seen you contacted Selling Partner Support in the case ending in 84321, where the team requested you the following information in order to help you to get these products added to your inventory:

If you believe you have the correct GTIN, provide one of the following.

  • A copy of a letter from the manufacturer or
  • A copy of a letter from the brand owner stating that the UPC you are using to list this product is valid and owned by them or
  • A copy of a letter from the brand owner stating that you are allowed to use your own barcode to list the branded item.

Note: The email or letter must also include the point of contact of the brand owner or manufacturer, mentioning that Amazon can contact them to verify.

  • An image of the product that clearly shows the barcode, brand and product.
  • You may include multiple images to ensure that all the required information is captured.

After we receive this information, we will perform a detailed review. The review may take up to two business days and we will contact you once the review is completed.

Please complete these steps. The team will be able to help you with this situation. Additionally, you can also review the Forum Quick Tip: Error Code 5461.
