How do I change my delivery of media mail at the present price? I want to charge the $4.63 they charge me now every time I send a DVD or CD or a record album. How can I do that because I keep charging $3.99? Someone help, please.

The increase was announced a couple months ago so you should not be surprised by it.
The way you increase your shipping if you are not on the PRO Plan is to raise your prices.
Once you are on the Pro plan you can set your own shipping prices. Until then you are at the mercy of Amazon and they will NEVER increase that since it would NOT 'delight' their customers (never mind about the sellers!)

Unless you are on a professional selling plan you can not change what you are charging.

Keep in mind that Amazon takes 15% of the TOTAL price paid by the customer, including the shipping. So if you want to increase your shipping charge (an option if you are on the pro plan), you might want to go higher than the actual cost to compensate.
Or just raise your price. If a customer pays $20 for an item, it doesn't matter if it's $16.01 + $3.99 shipping, or $14 + $6 shipping; you still get the same amount.

If you ship books, especially large ones, the increases are quite a bit higher. I can't remember the last time the cost of shipping was only $3.99

It is just another Amazon shot at the little people, those of us not PRO Players. We are not PRO Players at this time because Amazon has cancelled us out in so many categories that we no longer sell hundreds of items each month. In fact we barely sell more than ten. All Amazon's doing! They want us GONE!

If the Media titles you sell are way under 1 pound you should be able to get a better rate than $4.63 via Ground Advantage. A single CD is around 5-6 ounces.
