Slow Sales Weekend
Hi Everyone -
Is anyone else experiencing slower sales this weekend? Weekends used to be the strongest days of the week but last 2 weeks (including this) they have been much worse than usual (30%+ declines)
Anyone else experiencing this or have any insights? Thanks!

were having same issue, were use to getting orders daily pretty steady even during slow times, but have only had 2 since last tuesday....its like something has been shut off abnormally. Yes it was easter week and what not, but other platforms have been fine, usually amazon does even better than the others but its this one that has gone dead.

Yes the past weekend with the Easter most brand experience significant sales drop as most people are traveling, and enjoying the holidays.

I believe the slowdown is due to TAX TIME!!
Usually, today would be the deadline but the IRS decided on Tuesday, since Monday is Emancipation Day, a holiday in D.C
During the last week, our average sale was 15-20% higher than the monthly average. Long-tails finally leaving our shelves, so those who were lucky enough to get a return, if readers, are using it!!

This is speculating, but I believe something is up with Amazon putting less money into advertising over time. If you use your business reports to view "Sales and Traffic" you can see what your daily page view count is, and your sell through ratio. The ratio is the key to everything and can help understand when there is a real issue happening.
My data shows we were getting 30k page views consistently in 2021 to about 3k page views a day now. That's a 90% drop in traffic. Over time the amount has fallen steadily with "normal" traffic around Prime Day and Christmas (Nov 14-Dec 1). Everything else suggests whatever Amazon was doing to get its customers to its pages is not happening anymore.

Have you offended the gods?

Yeah, no sale since the morning. It didn't help that the most popular of my products got out of stock, but Amazon didn't tell me on the main page (thx).
This new update is such a horrible downgrade. I used 2 things on the sellers' page: The "running out of stock soon", and the "out of stock" panels. Both got removed by Amazon. I don't see any way to put it back there. It's stressing me out. How do I put it back on there? Does anyone know if there is a way to do that?
