the secret is to NOT find trending products. If you find a trending product you will have 50 other sellers within two months selling the same thing. the secret is selling something you understand something about the product and the niche. A bodybuilder will probably not sell nail polish because he knows nothing about naill polishs.

There is a book called Zero to One, written by Peter Thiel. Its about startups, but also business principles in general. I read it years ago, and one thing stuck in my mind which is extremely relevant to Amazon, specifically selling on Amazon. That is:

If you are doing a business that is easy to enter, or for others to compete with, they will, and very soon you will be pushed to the margin. What is the margin you may ask, in relation to Amazon. The margin is products that are easy to obtain, are being promoted by people on Tiktok, sold by the dropship scam companies, available at the .99 cent store or chain store, etc. The margin is being lucky to make a profit at all, or maybe single digit profit margins even before returns and overhead costs. If you get very good at sourcing and identifying opportunities, people will recognize this and just copy you. No profitable idea you have will last more than a month or two, and that rate is decreasing as information sharing increases.

Now, if you provide value, that is, source really good product that is hard to get, that people want, great service, maybe make your own products, or have an exclusive deal with some company, THEN, you will start seeing the profits and it will sustainable.

I say these things not to sound like a know-it-all, but to save you the painful years and years I had learning how to successfully do ecommerce.

Fidget Spinners, Adult Coloring Books, Air Fryers, and Stanley Cups.**

Disclaimer: Trend data may be weeks, to months, to decades old.

Best of luck. I agree with what @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC said. Maybe instead of being a trend follower you should aim at being a trend setter by designing and promoting something YOU create.

Eek. I think you have things backwards my friend. Don't come to Amazon looking for a trending product to sell. That's a surefire way to waste a boatload of your time and money; not to mention your sanity. It won't work. Those days are long gone.

Also, do you honestly believe if someone here could offer you a good answer to the question you asked, that they would be sitting on their hands and offering the answer to a stranger? I don't mean to be rude. I'm being honest.

Instead, develop a product you believe in that fills a niche, a product that competes in all ways with similar products already on the market. Hopefully, a product that offers advantages. Patent your product, or at minimum trademark your brand. Then come back. It's still going to be very tough and will cost a lot of money, but that's a much better way to approach Amazon.

I hope that helps.
