Urgent Appeal: Account Reactivation and Address Verification Issue
Hello
Recently, I received an email notifying me that my Amazon seller account had been verified and was ready to start selling. However, upon attempting to log in, I was met with another email stating that my account had been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. The reason cited was the need for additional documentation to verify my identity.
I understand the importance of complying with Amazon's policies and providing the necessary documentation to reactivate my account. As per Amazon instructions, I have carefully reviewed the requirements and have taken the following steps:
- I have submitted the required documents, including a utility bill dated within the last 90 days, which contains my name and address. The utility bill reflects the same address that was successfully verified through the address verification OTP process By Amazon.
- I have attached a scanned copy of my ID card, which was used to create the seller account, along with the ID card of the landlord whose name appears on the utility bill.
- I have also included the picture of the OTP received for address verification, confirming that the address provided is accurate.
Despite submitting all the necessary documentation, my account reactivation request has been declined repeatedly. I have even gone the extra mile to obtain the original ID card from my landlord to provide further verification, but to no avail.
I reside in a rented house, and the utility bill is registered under my landlord's name, although the address mentioned on the bill belongs to me. This discrepancy seems to be the reason for the rejection of my reactivation request. However, I have provided evidence to show that the address has been successfully verified through the Amazon OTP process.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I have invested significant time and effort into establishing my presence as a seller on Amazon, and it would be disheartening to see my account deactivated permanently.
If there are any additional steps or documentation required from my end, please let me know, and I will promptly comply. I am committed to ensuring that my account complies with Amazon's policies and regulations.
Thank you for your attention to this matter
Best regards,
Arsal

Hi @Moonwalk_Co
Thank you for your post. I understand your account has been deactivated, and you are needing to undergo verification.
Ideally, you will want to provide a bill in your name. With this in mind, please consider the following:
- Have you provided any documentation that ties you to the address on the bill?
- Do you have a different utility bill you can provide?
- You mentioned you have proof that the address is accurate, what does this proof entail?
- What is the reason your information was not accepted? You would have received a performance notification giving you the reason why. Please share that information here in the thread (with personal information removed.)
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy
