When you register for an Amazon account, I would suggest registering as an individual and selecting Ireland as your country of origin to make sure that all of your required documents for taxes can be done accurately.

However, if you would like to create a USA business down the road, you will have a hard time switching your country of origin.

Lastly, its impossible for me (or anyone else) to provide accurate tax advise. Taxes are extremely complicated and that's why accountants exists. I would suggest contacting an accountant in Ireland to see if you can take advantage of any kind of tax treaty or construct your Amazon business in a way beneficial for you.

If you are a sole proprietor or a single member LLC Amazon USA and the US tax authorities consider you as "Individual".

On your place I would not create a US LLC. International laws say that each citizen is taxable on his income in his residential country. So, any money you send to an Irish bank account has to be taxed as income, no matter if you payed already taxes in USA or not (as a US company for example).

To "do with your friend" is complicated. For that you would have to create a company in Ireland. In this case that would be a "business". If you have no education in Trade and Economy ask a specialist in your country.

Since you write here in the forum, I suppose you already own a seller account. So, don't make the mistake creating a second one for USA.
