How to find out reason of Return

Hi friends, can anyone help with finding out what the reason for a return is? Even going through the inventory ledger doesn't give me a clear answer.

You would have to look at the Customer Return Concessions report.

Hello @Seller_s3bebcUeBzRea,

Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.

In addition to the excellent input of @Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7, here is the help page for that report: Customer Concessions Reports.

Also, for you to see the reason for a FBA return in Seller Central, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Seller Central account.
  2. Go to the "Reports" menu at the top of the page.
  3. Under "Fulfillment," select "Returns."
  4. Click on "Customer Returns Report."
  5. You can set the date range for which you want to view returns.
  6. In this report, you'll find a column labeled "Return Reason," which shows the reason provided by the customer for each return.

Remember, the level of detail in the return reason may vary depending on what the customer selected when initiating the return. If you need more detailed information about a specific return, you might need to contact Seller Support.

If the order is FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant), you need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Seller Central account
  2. In the top-left corner, hover in the Menu and in the Orders section, select Manage Returns
  3. In the search bar you can include the ASIN, the Order ID, RMA or Tracking ID to find the order, and it will provide the Return reason as well as the Buyer comment

Do not hesitate in reaching out if you have further questions or doubts,

Jurgen
