How long does it usually take for the tax verification?
I've recently transitioned from a sole proprietorship to an LLC and hence changed the tax information on Amazon. I expect that it's just an EIN and address verification with the IRS document such as SS-4. If that's the case, it shouldn't take longer than 1-2 business days, but it's been about a week. I'm a little concerned whether it is normal, or something is stuck.

Resolved. It was verified successfully today. Seemingly, it can take around a week.

Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the frustration that this has caused. We do not have a set timeframe however, we have seen 48-72 hours depending on if there are no issues with the verification process. There are a lot of factors, but with the high volume of sellers, it can be longer.
