Overnight Shipping through FBA is more expensive than the item?
My listing is up and it says prime shipping for April 6 or 7th. I want to change it to overnight prime shipping. I looked and it costs $12.99 to switch it to overnight shipping. How can this be? I buy things with overnight shipping off Amazon all the time for like $10. How can they make any money if shipping costs more that the price of the product? What am I missing?

Are you doing seller fulfilled Prime or is the product at an Amazon warehouse?
If it's at Amazon don't forget that YOU decided to turn everything over to AMAZON so that you don't have to worry about such details.
Their playground, their rules.
Oh, as to the cost -- they make a profit on everything. I can get better UPS prices on all my products with my postage system provider (Amazon removed the name as an "ad" the last time I mentioned them) -- it got stamped out so to speak..................
