Yet when you change images on items sold for a decade to a customer image then tell me only the brand owner can fix and you have zero control I sell my inventory some where else!

Why are you even doing this? Sellers are not allowed to make changes to images. This is like handing us a photograph of a hammer and telling us we can start building our house.

How does this even help when I, as the registered brand owner, sees green check marks on ALL my image submissions, but the actual live images are not even remotely close?

How am I supposed to figure this out? Have done multiple rounds of delete/wait/reupload, have also deleted all my listings in all the international marketplaces just to make sure nothing was amiss.

This supposed "transparency" you're touting is clear as mud.

@KJ_Amazon @priscilla_amazon @SEAmod anyone that can help? No I do not have any one particular case ticket, but I have dozens (possibly hundreds?? over 8 years) of the usual "answer" of delete/wait/reupload before I just give up.

@Jim_Amazon, tagging you here since you are the only mod that responded to anyone on this post; The page linked in the post for "Image Manager" says that "Uploading an image doesn’t guarantee that your image will be displayed on the detail page. We combine images from different sources to ensure that customers see the best images available." I think what everyone, I mean literally Everyone - every seller, every buyer, and probably you and every one of your fellow moderators on these forums - can agree that Amazon's current methods for image management are not working. For an example, I have a case open now (16817181941) for ASIN B081BNCHBN, a listing for one specific Disney Cars character named "Billy Oilchanger". However, the image on the page shows 7 different Disney Cars characters, and none of them are Billy Oilchanger. This incorrect image leads buyers to believe they are getting 7 different Cars characters, and many of them have left negative feedback when they only get one Car. As you can see in my case, Seller Support told me "we've found that you are not a registered brand representative or reseller for brand "Disney". Therefore, we can’t make the changes you requested." I would be willing to bet that whoever contributed the image on the page is also not a "registered brand representative." Seller Support proceeded to tell me about how I could report a listing "violation," which if successful would only result in the page being removed and marked as a violation in every seller's account health. The end result of these policies is that the image has been incorrect for 4 years.

You can tell if a policy is working or not by looking at the end result.

Amazon talks a lot about ensuring customers have the best experience possible. Is there any plan to improve image management to ensure that customers see the correct image?
