Hello, we plan to launch a skin care line of creams and serums. We want to know what lab testing compliance requirements we need to successfully launch them without amazon flagging them.

Basically you have to comply with the laws of the country you sell in. For USA first consult the website of the FDA. You certainly need some days to find out, what exactly you have to do to sell cosmetics in the USA. And no competitor will give you a step-by-step guide.

I would second what @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC mentioned here. Making sure your products meet FDA requirements to be sold, you may also need to ensure you have proper testing if required for your product. I would recommend reviewing our cosmetics and Skin and hair care policy, which includes links to the FDA policy and requirements to help you on your journey.

If testing is required, you can commonly request these from the manufacturer. If they do not have these documents, you may need to have them independently tested. If this arises, you can always review our service provider network for recommended and accredited labs. The use of these labs is not required in anyway and are only suggestions.

Once you have everything ready, and you list your products, they may be removed and the above mentioned compliance documents may be requested. This is why having them ahead of time is important, as getting these can take a bit of time. If this does occur, provide the requested information and allow some time for their review to be completed.

If you run into any issues, you are always welcome to reach back out here, create a new thread, or contact support through a case.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
