I’m preparing to send my first inventory shipment to Amazon’s FBA warehouse, and all my products fall under the ‘Consumable’ category.

I’m the brand owner, registered with Amazon Brand Registry, and the product labels already have unique GS1 barcodes integrated, along with expiration dates. Additionally, these products will never be available for sale via 3rd party.

However, because the products are consumable and do have expiration dates, I’m unsure if I have completed all the required steps. I’ve thoroughly reviewed Seller University, as well as various discussion forums, but most answers simply point back to Seller University, leaving me without a clear answer.

Since I’ll be shipping multiple pallets and can’t afford additional costs due to potential errors, I want to ensure I’m following the correct process.

So, my question for clarification is, will the GS1 UPC barcode on the labels be sufficient, or do I need to include FNSKU barcodes as well?
