Help With Cost Breakdown
Hi All, i was wondeirng if someone could explain this to me.. I was looking at the breakdown of cost for one of my SKU's and saw something a little alarming: me losing money. i am attaching a picture of a breakdown of the cost for said SKU. What is weird is that it shows total FBA cost $21.15 with almost 60% of that being Inbound transportation cost at $12.60 . This shipment in question consisted of 5 different SKUs and was 38 pounds in total and cost $17.54 for the UPS label. The box the contained the SKU in question was 20 lbs. i have only sold 1 item of this particular SKU, so my question is, is the reason why the cost is showing at $12.6 for the transportation cost because I've only sold 1 item and it will divide out as I sell more? i tried to figure out how they were getting $12.60 for the shipping cost for this SKU/item alone, but couldn't figure out the formula they used. By my logic each lb cost .46 cents and if the box this SKU was in weighed 20 lbs then that box alone should have cost $9.20 but then it had 2 SKU's in there, so the cost should actually be lower... Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks!
