Welcome to the world of unintelligent AI. Been dealing with it for years. Have had several thousand listings removed because they contain a restricted keyword that has nothing to do with the product being restricted. It is simply a word that has more than one meaning in the English language. It takes 2-3 tries with Amazon to get each listing back up then they do it again a few months later. We have tried everything with them and it still continues.

I had the same issue. Mine were items designed with a "Persian Rug," design. I assumed that the word "Persian," was what brought about the restricted product violation and, albeit knowing that the violation was a mistake, immediately closed all of my listings with the same kind of designs so that I could edit the titles and they wouldn't be incorrectly flagged with the same issue.
I explained numerous times in the restricted product violation appeal and follow up cases that the violation was brought about in error and that the pillow covers have absolutely no connection to Iran and the word Persian was merely describing the popular design known as a "Persian rug." I even offered to update the title without the word Persian, all the while knowing that customers are searching for "Persian rug," when looking for this design.
It would be nice if my listing can be reinstated.

OMG, I thought I was only a victim of sanctions law policy issue. The part of product name has "Persian" and Amazon AI bot identified as mideastern country product. The other issue was hair extension but AI bot identified as sex doll with head due to a picture shows display of girl face picture with the hair. Another cases were American product and only written in English but Amazon AI bot identified as only label with foreign language. I sent pictures of products and appealed but the case was resolved more than a month later. By the way, I am afraid Amazon AI bot keeps wanting to remove my items lists. I called with representative of Amazon health guys but there was no good solution except for deleting items. I wanna add more new items but I am very scared Amazon wants to remove list with absurd reasons. It's very ridiculous and Amazon AI bot is weird. I hope Amazon solves all kinda weird restriction issues. Even I am considering I'd better sell more multiful platforms rather than Amazon. Health point is near to 200, I am so panicking.

Same thing here. Many hundreds of items flagged. Out of fear of losing my account I deleted many listings to "stop the bleeding". Currently have nearly 400 listings showing up under restricted products violation, with health impact as "pending". Last night about 20 or so got moved past pending and went to "high" account rating impact, and those reflected in my score earlier this morning. At this rate deactivation is imminent for me. Like others here, I have products with wording similar to Persian, etc. Some of my items do come from Turkey but Turkey isn't even on the sanctioned list right now.
Scared! 10 year seller here....

Some of the keywords I believe (this is all my speculation) they are flagging as "against US sanctions":
- Turkish
- Persian/Persia
- Aydin
- Bohemian
- Adja
- Asher
- Moroccan
- Izil
I've had items restricted that all had these terms.

I sell coins from all over the world as jewelry be it pendants, bracelets, earrings etc...
48 of my listings have been deactivated and Amazon keeps telling me I need a certificate of origin or certificate of compliance?!?
The message reads 'This product has been identified as one that does not comply with applicable sanctions requirements. Amazon prohibits the listing or sale of any items that violate sanctions requirements. If you believe your product does not violate sanctions laws, please provide a valid certificate of origin or certificate of compliance'
I have come to the conclusion that they are related to Iran sanctions because all of these listings have "Persia" in common in the search bar or title. I have deleted these search terms but still no reactivation.
They have deactivated my coins from Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, some Israel and some from India
This AI bot is ridiculous and Amazon representatives are not very helpful
please, does someone know what to do ?
