Transparency - They are not letting me remove my products from the program

It's crazy, but it seems Amazon is forcing me to stay in their Transparency program. Twice I've spoken to people on the Transparency team, including my "manager" and I told them I want a product removed from Transparency. Both times they reply, asking me why I want to remove it. I answer them (saying that Amazon's fees have gotten too high) and both times I neither hear back from them nor is any action taken.

I have removed products from Transparency in the past so I know it can be done, unless something has changed? And if it has changed and you cannot remove your product, how could that possibly make any sense.
