Wrong item returned, how do I issue 1-cent refund?
My buyer returned a different item. I see the following "buttons" - (1) Issue refund and (2) close return.
If I click on the (1) Issue refund - will I be able to give the buyer 1 cent since the item is different and to close this return forever? Or, as soon as I click on that button - the FULL amount will be refunded?
If I click on the (2) close return button - will I be able to issue 1 cent refund there and close this refund forever?
(3) What will happen if I do nothing?

No matter what you do, have you considered filing a police report with the postal inspectors over mail fraud?

'Materially different item returns' need to be handled in a specific way. It's important to follow policy so you are covered if the customer opens an A-z claim.
