Amazon Buy Shipping: No Support Available – When Will DHL Collect?

I purchased a shipping label through Amazon’s "Buy Shipping" service for an order to the USA, but no one has come to collect the package.

The tracking information currently says, "Package left the shipper facility," but the item has never been picked up.

I reached out to Amazon support, and they advised me to contact the carrier directly. The carrier is DHL, but when I called their customer service, the tracking number wasn’t recognised, and the call disconnected automatically.

I’ve since sent a message to DHL and am now waiting for a response, which could take a long time.

Does anyone know how I can get proper support for the $25 shipping label I purchased? Is there a more efficient way to resolve this?

Ok I figured this out no thanks to any support case. Here's what you need to do should you find yourself in the same situation.

Once you have bought shipping (amazon buy shipping), go to the DHL website and click Ship > schedule pickup >

Do you need to create a shipping label? > No

You'll need either a DHL Waybill Number or a DHL account number to schedule a pickup.

Use the DHL Tracking number provided by Amazon...

Enter phone number.

Complete the next screen and schedule the collection.

Thats how to have your Amazon buy shipping actually collected if you use it in the UK to send to the USA through DHL anyway.

Hope this helps someone.

To underscore for all - Amazon Buy Shipping does not mean your selected carrier automatically picks up the package. As seen in many threads here on forums, some sellers do pay for carrier pickup in their markets while others do daily dropoffs at carrier locations.
