Amazon Claims Product Is Counterfeit – Transparency Code + Invoices Provided but Still
Hi all,
I’m hoping someone here can offer advice or share a similar experience.
I recently got flagged by Amazon for selling counterfeit products. The thing is, the items in question were:
Purchased from a reputable, authorized distributor
Fully enrolled in Amazon’s Transparency program, with codes properly applied to each unit
I submitted clear photos showing the Transparency labels and uploaded valid invoices showing where and when I purchased the inventory. Despite that, I just heard back from Amazon saying that I haven’t provided any information to prove the product's genuineness.
This is incredibly frustrating—especially since I’ve followed all the rules and done everything by the book. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a better way to present the proof, or a particular format Amazon prefers?
Any help or tips would be hugely appreciated. I'm really trying to resolve this and keep my account in good standing.

Yeah this brings a question on whether the Amazon policy of transparancy is working or not. Because if the product already has the transparency label as per the Amazon it defines the authenticity of the product and they verify it before the shipping.

We had a similar issue happen on one of our SKUs. Upon speaking to several reps over the phone, the below was all they could give to help. It took a few days, but it eventually went through.
All we were told was to make sure to submit as many invoices as possible and highlight all important information on the invoice. But the big one is to make sure to provide an LOA (letter of authorization). This has to be completed by either the right owner, brand owner, or the manufacturer. The LOA is what they are after most of the time.

we got the same issue just a few days ago, I submitted invoices and got rejected. What I did is check all the invoices make sure they are meeting the requirements, I remember there are four requirements for invoice, your name and address, distributor name and address, quantities , so I suspect the invoices we submitted didnt cover all the quantity sold in the past few years + the ones in warehouse, so we submitted all the invoice for that SKU, around three years, and it got approved the next day
