Customer left 1 Star review for receiving what she ordered

Here is the review and my response. Amazon rejected removal already. I’m not overly concerned, I’m now selling less than $10 a day on Amazon. It was crazy fun, but want to focus on my own brand and website for now. But if I want to come back to Amazon in the future, this 1 star is pretty messed up.

Review: “In the past, I bought this item, and it was a two-pack. In addition to the fact that this seller raised the price, instead of two, they sent just one pack. When buyers click on “buy again,” they expect exactly the same item. After receiving just one pack instead of two, I felt cheated.”

Your Response: Seriously you are giving me a 1 Star rating for sending you exactly what you ordered? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NY6Q60 where does it say 2 boxes & 40 Tea Bags, it says 1 box & 20 Tea bags. I just want to get rid of my stock and i’m not selling German items anymore, so I would of sent you another box. You did not respond to my email, you just left bad review for no reason.

Hi there! I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. According to the ASIN you ordered it was for a single box of 20 tea-bags. Pricing will always vary depending on the seller you choose to purchase from. The specific product we received an order from you for was for one box of 20 bags. In the future when shopping on Amazon please make note to read the entire description of what you are purchasing. I will reach out to Amazon their “buy again” function is misleading customers when there are different sizes available. As a precautionary measure I suggest the next time you use that feature make sure the listing for the ASIN you selected has not changed.

Order same item again - don’t get same item. That seems like a valid complaint to me.

Why didn’t you say:

I’m sorry to hear about the problem you are having. We changed the item to a single a few months ago. Please accept a free box from us since you were not aware of the change.

Having said that, you are not allowed to change the listing that way. The 2-pack was the item the ASIN was assigned to and you changed it to a 1-pack. If you decided to sell a single you should have created a new listing.

Feedback deserved.

I’m suppose to post that in my reviews? How is that going solve anything? That is a good note to seller, but seller never responded to me or I would of sent them a free box to get them off my back.

“The entire feedback comment is regarding fulfillment or customer service for an order fulfilled by Amazon.”

This is a fulfillment issue, that has nothing to do with me. I didn’t make the ASIN, didn’t change the ASIN, don’t see proof of the ASIN ever being changed. The company doesn’t make 2 packs, so by Amazon’s own rules, no such product is even allowed.

Once again a 2 pack doesn’t exist from the manufacturer, can’t exist on amazon.

I can’t figure out why he’s selling less than $10 a day

I’m not asking for sales or complaining about sales, only stating what my sales are. I’m trying to liquidate what is left and just be done with this. My point is, it’s such piddly money, that its not even worth this headache. Maybe I have 20 items left to sell, it’s better to sell it, than trash it. But hey I been drinking the Tea, using the Mustard etc… So good.

If anyone orders the TEA from me from this forum, i’ll send 2 boxes for the price of 1. I’m the complete opposite of what you are saying. I don’t care about any of this, my main business has always done good and just wanted to try something new. I always hooked up my customers and never received jack squat from them. I only want for when I want to come back to Amazon, that I don’t have 1 stupid review that had nothing to do with me.

As a Buyer, I’ve hit the “order again” button for a previously purchased product, only to discover that Amazon directed me to a different variation on the listing. Evidently, the specific variation that I had previously purchased was no longer available, from any Seller.

I did not purchase, but had I not been watching closely, I also could have thought I was buying something (again) that I was actually not, like this Buyer did. If @hauzlite’s offer was on a variation (or on what used to have variations), I can see this happening through no fault of theirs.

It would have been more ethical (IMHO) for Amazon to say upon button click, “Oops, that awesome thing is no longer available; are you interested in this very-similar-but-not-the-same product?”

Doesn’t make the response to the Buyer okay, though. :no_mouth:
