Yeah amazon stopped doing return labels in my area unless the customer pays for them. I was told by an amazon rep just today that if the delivery address is within 15 miles of a whole foods or Kohl's they are only accepting returns through these locations unless you want to pay for the label or the dollar fee to go to a ups store. I explained that I get daily UPS pick ups and the two previous kohls returns had wait times of more than 45 minutes after having to drive across town to the store. I am expecting that a lot more customers will start messaging the sellers directly over returns like this. I have a personal order coming that is so overdue the replacement delivered 3 days ago. They won't cancel this order, they won't redirect the order and told me I can just return it when it finally arrives. But only by taking it to a khols.

Hi @Seller_UbA5UTifE79bdand thanks for reaching out. I'm not Mina or Dougal but I am a member of our Community Manager team and am happy to assist.
This is the first I'm hearing of this, and I will be interested to see if additional sellers weigh in in the coming days that they're having similar issues.
In the meantime, I will take a look at those cases and do some additional research internally to see what I can determine. I'll reply back shortly.
Thank you,
- Danika

Hi again @Seller_UbA5UTifE79bdmy review of your three cases went quickly. It looks like cases 13141418971 and 13141626141 are still in process. I'd like to give Seller Support a chance to respond before taking any additional actions.
In the case of 13141429411 you received an answer that the seller support agent wasn't able to submit a request on your behalf. He then provided you with the steps to request exemption from prepaid returns for Seller-fulfilled orders, which I'm sharing again below:
- Go to your Returns Settings page and then click Manage Return Templates.
- Download the Prepaid Returns Exemption template and follow the instructions in the file.
- Choose the appropriate reason code for your exemption.
- Save the template as a tab delimited (*.txt) file. Ensure you save the file while the PrepaidExemptions tab is displayed.
- Upload your (*.txt) file.
To request a SKU Exemption, please follow the directions on our Help page: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/202174980?referral=A39QPLMV9JURUQ_A20Q2XNWO5IP9E
Were you able to successfully follow these instructions to generate a return label? Please let me know, and if not, we can look to next steps for escalation.
Thanks again,
- Danika
