Need help getting ungated

Hello..I'm trying to get ungated with a purchase but the distributor only allows for 6 units to be purchased. My question is, can I submit 2 invoices for a total of 10 units of the same item? 6 and 4?

Why does this distributor limit quantity? Is this a very expensive item? (I can see limiting the purchase of a $5000 product).

Is this distributor authorized by the brand to distribute their products? More importantly, do you have permission FROM THE BRAND to sell their products ON AMAZON?

Your account rep with the brand should be able to help you find a source that will allow you to purchase the minimum required amounts.

I meant that the retail store is limiting me to purchase 6 items per transaction. So I was wondering if I could submit 2 invoices totaling the 10 units

A retail store will give you receipts, not invoices.

And no, that won't work for ungating. You need INVOICES from a real distributor; and you will likely need written permission FROM THE BRAND to sell their products on Amazon.

Stop right now; go through Seller U (pay special attention to sourcing requirements), and spend at LEAST a week reading the forums. Pay extra attention to any titled "section 3" or "counterfeit" or "IP complaint".

Doesn't matter what the store is, or whether it's online or B&M; if it's a RETAIL store, you will not get an invoice. A simple check is whether or not you have to provide your business license/tax excemption before being allowed to buy.

Another thing to note; when a retailer is placing a qty restriction on an item, it is typically to prevent exactly the thing you are trying; of resellers buying up stock to sell online. Be aware that the items for which this is done are also the ones most likely to trigger Counterfeit complaints if you attempt to sell on Amazon.
