Invalid UPC

Hi all, I have a product that is current being sold on amazon has "generic" under multiple different ASIN's but when I go to create a generic listing for the product the UPC on the product comes up as invalid. I cannot edit or copy any of those generic listings as it goes against amazons policy. How do I fix this issue and list this product? I applied for a GTIN exemption but it does not quality since it does have a UPC just not a valid one. Help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Take 3-4 months to learn how selling on Amazon has to be done. Otherwise you will loose products, money and seller account. Your question shows that you have no idea. Learn here:

Hello @Seller_1VuBH1owXN2QO,

If your product has a UPC, the UPC is tied to your brand name for that product and will need to be listed with that brand as your brand. It may require that you provide images of your product along with all of your product information to Seller Support so they can approve your brand to be sold on Amazon. As it's a policy violation to list a branded item as generic, I recommend that you read the Generics Policy page to ensure you are compliant when listing your products.

As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC has stated, you should also review Seller University to learn more about Amazon so you don't put your account at risk of suspension.

I hope this is helpful!
