Other / Others Charge Amazon should NOT take our money with NO EXPLAINATION associated with the transaction. OTHER is not acceptable
I have a FEE/transaction that occured today for over $1000. It is listed at Other/Others and Seller Central CANNOT TELL ME WHAT IT IS FOR. I have clicked on the blue number in the log and what it says it pictured below in a screen shot. I have also copied what clueless SS is telling me. How can Amazon take money without any explanation. This is just WRONG.
Here is the Case ID-15482367851 for any MOD that can look into this and please let AMazon know we deserve an explanation to all fees deducted.
"Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. I understand that you are concern regarding "Other" transactions in your Payments report amounting $1,067.40.
"Other" transactions might show up in your Payments reports from time to time. Common transactions of this type include:
• Subscription fees, as described in your seller service agreement
• Charges associated with A-to-z Guarantee claims
• Corrections issued by Amazon to remedy an account discrepancy
Typically, a $39.99 "Other" transaction represents your monthly subscription fee for selling on Amazon.com. If your Payments report shows more than one $39.99 transaction of this type, it may be a carryover from an earlier settlement period when your sales were not sufficient to cover the monthly subscription fee

This is clearly horrible. I also have found "Other" random payments to Amazon. No info, just "Other". Over a thousand is a super large amount, and would be caught easily. I am surprised this is going on still.
I am a smaller seller, and they take a little here and a little there throughout the year. At the end of last year, they took about 5 separate "Other" fees, just in the last 2 weeks of December. I guess it was their Christmas bonus.
I don't bother to contact support, I am sure they will punish me somehow.
I have seen this come up, and no one has ever come back to give information about how or why this is going on. I hope you luck on fixing this, and hopefully you can come back and let us know what this is, and how to avoid those fees,
Thanks!

And then you politely respond to the case and say something like...What specifically what the $1k charge is for.
When you don't get a reasonable response again, you ask again (without getting emotional) and ask that the case be transferred to a manager. You will probably have to do a few back and forth. Just expect it and don't get emotional. Just state the facts and the question.

On the exact same date, we noticed an "Other/Others" transaction on our account as well.
Our resellers in Europe reported the same issue. On 6/20/2024, they saw a charge without explanation.
I guess Amazon started taking money from everyone on that day for some reason? Maybe a mistake by the payments team?
