Shipment successfully delivered to Amazon Wherehouse via ups but amazon not processing it or updating inventory

Greetings,

I wanted to inform you that my package from China was successfully delivered by UPS on June 27, 2023 to the Amazon warehouse MDW2 located at 250 Emerald Drive, Joliet, IL, 60433-3280, United States.

Today is July 5, 2023, and I have yet to receive the shipment updated to my inventory . Due to the depletion of my current inventory, I have halted all advertising efforts. Consequently, my product ranking has experienced a significant decline.

Considering the prolonged delay in Amazon accepting these items, I am concerned about the opportunities available for new sellers to grow. If there is any way Amazon can offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.

Considering the prolonged delay in Amazon accepting these items, I am concerned about the opportunities available for new sellers to grow. If there is any way Amazon can offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am going to assume you are new because your expectations are not based on experaince. These types of shipments can take 30 days to receive and potentially longer to process. Plan accordingly.

The supply chain does not work at the speed consumers expect when buying. Ads are optimized over months, Payment terms are in months, freight takes weeks.....

Just because Amazon prime offers one and two day services to buyers doesnt mean the supply chain moves that fast.

As @Seller_Qbd0RsfZFEZBYmentioned it's too soon to be worried about this shipment. Yes, I know it seems like you should expect that products delivered to FBA will be checked in and shelved very soon after arrival. But your items are inbound along with hundreds/thousands of other sellers. This is a manual process and it just takes time to get to your box(es).

While you're waiting, might I suggest you head on over to Seller University (created by Amazon for sellers). Studying here can provide you with lots of information you didn't know you needed to know.

Thanks for taking the time to post this, and I will be happy to provide additional context for what's happening here. Historically, receiving delays occur throughout the network at various times for various FC related issues (staffing, volume, etc). I can't speculate as to what the specific issue is here, but my initial recommendation would be to remain as patient with the process as possible. If the receiving process takes an extended period of time (something like 4-6 weeks), reply back to me here and we can discuss next options. I wish you the best of luck!
