FBA Inventory Glitch since Mid July 2024

Short Version...

Shipped 2 separate shipments around July 14th 2024. Both shipments showed delivered to facility and all pieces of product showed as pending. About 2 weeks later all the pending inventory disappeared showing 0 and just the existing inventory that was in-stock and available for sale is showing. Received email almost a month later that everything was checked in and shipment has been closed. Still nothing showing from these two shipments.

Contacted customer support via chat, they opened a ticket, received email yesterday that was a cookie cutter email that did not address the issue at all.

Contacted customer support by phone today, they saw the issue and said the items are in the warehouse and should show as available by next week. They said they have been getting many calls about this issue and have made tech support aware of the problem.

In addition, since it's been almost a month today that we shipped the products, it seems to be taking substantially longer for shipped inventory to become available for sale in some Amazon warehouses so the support rep recommended shipping earlier than normal and don't wait for inventory to drop to low levels. She also recommended breaking up the shipments into smaller quantities shipped to multiple warehouses as the chances of this issue happening to all of the shipments will be less.

Oh, we don't expect the items we ship to FBA to be available for 2 day shipping from Amazon for at least a month. Yesterday I was looking at an item from another seller and the FBA delivery date was Oct 6-7. Yikes.

Good News. Today the missing inventory is showing up as pending (Facility Transfer) just as the Amazon rep that I spoke to said it would. It's now about 5 weeks since we shipped the merchandise to Amazon.
