Invalid Tracking

Every time we ship an order with TForce freight, Amazon dings us on our VTR for invalid tracking. We have opened multiple cases. The last one (case#16215436191) telling us to use the name TForce Logistics as the carrier name when we upload tracking. We have done this but still get dinged every time for invalid tracking. You can clearly see the tracking numbers are correct and trackable on the TForce website. This has been going on for months! Why can't Amazon fix this issue!! Multiple cases and always the same scripted response. It's not like this is some small carrier we are using. It's one of the biggest in the country.

Hi @Seller_UM5eTfd77MpUW,

Under "Exemptions from VTR calculation" (VTR help page), Amazon maintains a specific list of heavy/bulky freight carriers that don't affect VTR metrics. Unfortunately, TForce isn't currently on this list, which could explain why you're getting these VTR dings despite being a major carrier.

For non-exempt carriers, the help pages note that tracking must be entered through the carrier drop-down menu - using the "Other" field for integrated carriers will actually mark the tracking as invalid. You can find these details in the "How to maintain a healthy VTR" section of the same help page.

Since the previous solution from your support case didn't resolve the issue, you might want to:

  1. Double-check if TForce appears in the carrier drop-down menu (if it does, use that exact name)
  2. Consider temporarily switching to one of the exempt carriers listed in the help documentation until TForce becomes fully integrated with Amazon's system

I hope this helps.

Best regards, Michael
