Subject: Concerns Regarding Review Transparency and Authenticity
Hello Seller Forum, @Danny_Amazon @Jim_Amazon
I hope you’re all doing well.
We’ve encountered an issue that we’d like to get your input on. We’ve received the same review from a customer named Gal K on two different products with ASINs B08RWQJZB7 and B08RBNWVVY. The review highlights several issues with the quality of the products, including a petroleum odor, slimy texture, unrealistic simulated wounds, and material tearing.
What’s concerning is that upon checking, we found this customer’s profile only contains these two reviews—both for our products. This raises questions about the authenticity and transparency of the review.
We’re unable to locate any order details for this customer in our system and would like to understand how such reviews can be managed and verified. Has anyone experienced similar issues, and if so, how did you handle them? Any insights or advice on ensuring the authenticity of reviews and addressing potentially misleading feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,

I view selling on Amazon as a game.
I view these un-vetted reviews as part of the game. I have received reviews from insane people.
Such as
-A pen that received 20 reviews. 19 of them were 5 stars and only one was 1 star. Claiming the pen leaks and making a really awkward joke in their review.
-Unverified reviews from new product launches
-Even a review that just insulted everyone and even the video reviews on the listing.
You can try to report the review on the detail page to see if, for some reason, Amazon reviews it but this has worked for me once out of about 40 times attempting this.
Being that the goal of this Amazon game is to maximize your investment in your business, I view the only possible solution is to generate lots of reviews that will make the poor review a minor inconvenience because you have so many reviews.
Whenever I get this problem I increase advertising spend and I request a review from all of the customers buying the product 8 days after they make their purchase. This leads to a high influx in review generation and makes the poor review look like a small inconvenience that is no longer affecting anything.
