E-Invoice API Integration - Clarification Needed

Hi ,

After updating the API username and password in the Amazon portal (Tax Settings > E-Invoice), how does the e-invoice generation process work?

1. Will e-invoices be automatically generated for every FBA shipment as soon as it is created?

2. Or do we need to manually generate e-invoices for FBA shipments?

3.Also heard that for sellers creating FBA shipments, we need to generate the e-invoice manually from the government portal. However, once the FBA stock reaches the Amazon Fulfilment Center (FC), based on sales demand, products will be transferred to another FC, and for such transfers, Amazon will generate the e-invoice through API integration. Is this correct?

4. Since e-invoicing is mandatory for all B2B transactions, what about B2B customer orders? Will Amazon generate e-invoices for those orders through API integration as well?.

There is a lot of confusion around this process, and I am not getting clear information. A proper explanation would be greatly appreciated.
