Delete snd relist a listing to remove violation
Ok this might be confusing and let's get some Amazon mods involved in this topic.
I am brand registered and use transparency. About 17 days ago got a product violation for defective item. Appealed multiple times change my reason of Appeal based on advise from seller central and account health and still inactive. Yesterday sent in a new Appeal taking responsibility changed a+ content all images but can't change title or bullet points (not sure how to do this). So this is the advice I am getting from Seller central and account health and sounds real fishy.
I am being told to delete the listing wait 24 hours then relist using the same sku and asin. They said once re-listed the violation goes away. I debated this with seller central then reached out to account health talked about this in detail and was told she would verify it with the team. She called me back 20 min later and said it removes the listing history from Amazon and the violation permanently
Someone please tell me I am not the only one that thinks this is either horrible advise or amazon has a huge loop hole that can be used to get around violations really need this corrected.
Thank you

You can delete a listing from your personal inventory, but it will not delete the product from the Amazon catalog. If it is your product, it stays live in the catalog with the note MORE COMING SOON.
You cannot create a new listing without providing a new GS1 UPC. Even iff you try, when trying to list the product, most likely the bot will say, the product is already in the catalog and want you to relist under the original listing.
What was the vilaltion in the listing?

Hello @Seller_wxnYBNcXPyGYL,
Thank you for reaching out to us through the Forums. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us. I want you to know that I fully understand how frustrating and worrying it must be to face a product violation, especially when your appeals haven't been accepted.
To better assist you, could you provide some more details, such as the ASIN or a case ID? With this information, and help from an internal team, I have better ability to research your specific situation.
This sounds very much like a Product Condition Customer Complaint - Defective violation. I am just saying that as those are sometimes the most difficult to deal with. You are guided to review Voice of the Customer, identify the complaint, take responsibility, make corrections in the listing and appeal.
Confusion may happen as you are appealing multiple times (as that is what it takes sometimes). Whatever you choose as the Root Cause must include the corrective steps that circle back to address the Root Cause.
I would be happy to verify this for you. All I need is the ASIN.

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.
