Refund issued to a customer without return/refund request !

Standard Returns Policy being applied everywhere at convenience to contain the sellers so that they bear the brunt of the procedural loss has become a norm now-a-days....strange to see that when the case isn't standard, then how can a standard policy be applicable to it !

A surprising case has just happened with us - Refund issued to a customer without any return/refund request by him when the product has already been successfully delivered. Upon probe it was found that it was a procedural error at Customer Care (could be an accidental issue of the refund also). But, ultimately, seller is being asked to bear all the penalties by applying for Safe-T Claim, waiting for 50% of the claim value to be credited after 50 days....for no fault of the seller.

Are we your business associates or "easy-prey" ????

It happened to me this month and my safe T Claim was approved. Can't help it, we should check the refund status of orders in Payment->Transaction view
