Two-step Verification with primary phone using only voice call

I am attempting to enable Two-step Verification on my phone that cannot receive text messages. I want to use voice call to ge the OTP. I get an internal error. Help!!!!

I don't know why amazon can't understand that there are legitimate businesses on here that still have land lines for their offices. They keep pushing us to change our number to something that gets texts.

Have you tried using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data to receive texts? I get poor reception in my building and using Wi-Fi helps with iMessage, however I know not everyone uses Apple products.

As alternative, please create a support case so that our partner team can provide alternative OTP.

The seller does not have a cell phone. They asked about help and how to get the OTP by a voice call.

We too have bad cell service in our studio office and manufacturing facility. We use Wi-Fi on our android device.

To @Seller_8WZsbJCuhsO8u you could try "Google Voice" I did set that up at one time for us as a backup. You sign up for a phone number, it is free. Then when you get a text it comes in as an email. You do need to keep the line "live" by using it from time to time. It is clunky but did work.

We always look for a workaround to Amazon problems. Since chances are the solution will be slow, or never even come.

Thats what 99% of things here have been and its pathetic sellers constantly have to do this.

We even just had a case that took months to resolve when they changed a feed template it would no longer work. They forgot to include a required column on the product template. So after months of explaining and re-explaining, they told us to just list the product in another unrelated product category. Followed up by us telling them repeatedly that would violate amazons policies and them telling us that didnt matter anyways.

You go to setting and choose Login Settings. There, I believe, you can change things.
