Did anyone who sells Funko products get this email?

We sell thousands of Funko branded products every day and out of the blue 5 minutes ago we get this email. Never had any issues with Funko products besides the occasional authenticity complaint, which we are able to get taken care of relatively easy because we have verifiable invoices from suppliers. We have an amazing track record with Funko and our supply chain is fine, so I am not sure where this has come from. There is no where for me to request approval and we are hard gated with a red restricted sign on the app. Any help would be appreciated.

"Hello,

To ensure a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, we have implemented additional qualifications to sell FUNKO products. Specifically, at this time, only domestic sellers with track record of steady sales and inventory supply from reputable and verifiable suppliers are eligible to list FUNKO products. Since we do not currently have enough information about your supply chain to confirm that you meet these criteria, we are removing your ability to list FUNKO products on Amazon.com.

As a result, effective 2024-10-29, your existing FUNKO listings will be removed and you will not be able to list new FUNKO products. This action does not impact your account health and you are still eligible to list other products on Amazon.com. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our store safe for customers.

How can I reinstate my listings?

We are not currently accepting applications to sell FUNKO products, but this may change in the future. If your account becomes eligible to sell this product, you will see "Request Approval" next to the product in the "Add a Product" feature in Seller Central. At that time, you may be asked to provide more information about your business and supply chain to confirm it meets our listing criteria.

I think there has been a mistake because I do not sell FUNKO branded products. What should I do?

If you believe your listings have been removed in error because you don’t sell FUNKO branded products, please contact Selling Partner Support with evidence, such as product pictures and invoices, that clearly specify the brand and product information for your products. Amazon will review your claim and make a final determination that will ensure the best shopping experience for our customers."

Looks like Funko is shutting down 3rd party sellers.

This has happened to a lot of brands as of recently.

Those that are allowed to sell are "whitelisted" and everyone else was subjected to what you were.

Also a seller of thousands of products sourced directly from Funko and Distributers.

Not even allowing to submit any documentation. Also stating you have to do a removal order pretty much by EOD. This may be coming directly from Funko I'll be sending an email to see if I find anything out.

Really not trying to have 1000s of pops sent back to me.

Will Funko add you to their brand registry as a re-seller? That is probably the only way to sell that brand.

I just sent in like 8k units and now I have to have them recalled? it's absolute insanity. we had zero notice of this. no warning whatsoever, in Q4.

I can only imagine how badly it will affect you, as I know you do a ton of volume. this is awful.

it will cost us thousands of dollars in removal fees to get our stuff back, and then what am I supposed to do with it?

We got the same email around 7pm eastern last night. Changes took affect a few hours later. No warning and no opportunity to submit documents to appeal. We have been an Amazon seller for 18.5 years. Funko for 6.5 years. Near perfect metrics. Every Pop we sell is backed up with an invoice from Funko. We only buy direct from them. Dozens of other sellers are still allowed to sell, most with far less experience than us.

We have team members that work solely with Funko. We have 1000s of units now stranded in FBA warehouses. And many 1000 more units on the way to us from Funko. Its Q4 and we have been ramping up our inventory to FBA. At Amazon's urging. And then they do this.

I know it probably won't make any difference, but Amazon needs to know what these arbitrary decisions are doing to small businesses. How are we supposed to have confidence to invest in inventory, people and technology to grow our Amazon business? How is this a positive partnership that can grow and succeed?

Would love to get a Mod's eyes on this thread - this is the kind of stuff the Mod's need to read and escalate as leadership needs to know that these kinda of overnight decisions can kill many businesses - the cost alone from having to send and remove the inventory can be insane. There is absolutely no need to do something like this without some sort of notification. If I were a seller, with legitimate invoices from Funko, with a ton of product - I'd absolutely after having exhausted all other options would pursue mediation to get compensation for at minimum the inventory shipping, storage, and removal costs.
