Begging for Help Please from Amazon with a great account for over 14 years
We have 216,258 listings on Amazon, we have been selling on amazon for over 14 years, we have averaged over 7,300 sales a year with 3 or less negative feedbacks a year, that's over 87,600 sales. We currently have a critical situation on our account. We sell mostly trading cards on amazon and the Amazon customers have told us many many times over these years they are so glad to have a resource like us to get these items from us. Our cards are a perfect gift for all these sales, we care, we ship everything as soon as possible, we have braved severe weather, traveled to post offices distances away from us in times there were power outages etc, whatever it takes to get the job done. Last week we listed 150 College Basketball cards, the robots detected in our bullet points the word NBA, the young worker helping us with the listings was cloning and adding the listings, your robots viewed this, the use of the word NBA as a possible copyright infringement. Over the weekend we got a call saying our account was at risk and our home sales page says that as well for 150 plus suspected copyright infringements. We said lets just delete these items from Amazon and move on with our business, we can relist them without that bullet point again next week. Well deleting a "troublesome" item is a huge mistake. We have been speaking with many various Amazon customer service agents since Sunday, each one has different take on what to do. Some have told us they are sorry the robots were not able to see this was not a possible copyright infringement. Basically at this point we are being told we will be suspend for 6 months because the item are deleted and we cant fix the bullet point, deleting the item was not fixing the problem, but now these items don't exist t be fixed. Common sense says the items are deleted there is nothing to fix. So at this point we are being told after 12 plus years, 87,000 plus sales, and over 200,000 listings over the years that we will be suspended and most likely banned for years for these 150 cards a robot assumed was a violation. We are begging someone at Amazon to help us. You cant be in business for years, have a great track record and then lose your business because a robot scans 150 items.....Please help us Amazon

I assume you have a list of the affected ASINS, so make a spreadsheet to upload with those ASINS and fixed bullet points or whatever infringes and try to upload.

We can all agree that the BOTS are as dumb as a box of (generic) ROCKS!
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....
And NOTE -- Paragraphs are your friend. A wall of text is not.

Amazon does not care about you. Sorry to be so blunt but usually the truth hurts.

Welcome to the Sad reality of Amazon , but do not worry someone who created amazon is doing so much charity that he will put you on his bazillion dollar charity list , or you can move to china and do what ever you want on amazon

Something similar happened to me bc the bots didnt like the term Alice in Wonderland in my listing
I design my own product with the alice in wonderland theme, This character is public domain and designs are my own custom work
But alice in wonderland is a trademarked term and I have shown thorugh at leat 5 appeals that i used the term as descriptive in its dictionary meaning which is allowed according to amazon's IP policy
All my appeals have been rejected and my account has been shut down for almost a month now. Also there is no way for me to call account health as the call option isnt even available to me

That would be a huge business lose...

Yea...Amazon has gotten rough with trademark rules and its all through bots with a company that makes an already very robotic appeal/help system intimidating. To them, deleting is like an admission of guilt, fix before removing is the rule.
Best of luck with your issue, but Amazon's policy is basically 'do it right the first time, or your out'. Even with honest mistakes. Amazon is still a decent source of money for us, but we're running it with a skeleton crew right now, befor eBay and Etsy instead which are working out extremely well.
Cheers,
