New seller, I live in California, do I need a seller permit to sell on others states?
I am confused about the seller permits. I will apply for a seller permit in California to get the reseller permit.
I will sell home products nothing dangerous. Do I need a seller's permit for each state my product is sold?
Please help me to understand it.

You do not need to apply for resale permits in any other state.
You will probably need to file quarterly with California even if you owe nothing. But don't take my word for it -- check with the state tax board to find our your filing responsibility.
Sales tax -- since the Marketplace Facilitator act has finally spread to all states that have a sales tax is handled strictly by the sites such as Amazon. Amazon assesses, charges, and remits the tax. The seller has nothing to do with it. The sales tax appears in your transaction, but it's just bookkeeping magic. It it never in your hands.
For me, in California with brick and mortar store, my sales tax reports include online sales to California residents, but then a few screens later I back out that amount using Marketplace Facilitator as the reason.

In California, a broad range of products are subject to additional regulation. The list of regulations below is provided solely as an informational guide and is not comprehensive.
