It is risky in many ways to hand deliver an order. First problem is, you are either a complete stranger in a private car entering their property or coming to their door, or you are breaking the law putting something in their mail box.

If you did either delivering to me, hell would break lose....

The second problem is that you have NO proof of delivery and your account gets dinged because you have no tracking number. All you can do now is mark it shipped

You don't have a tracking ID. Hopefully they are a nice neighbor, as you risk an A-Z claim for "item not received."

Not only what @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EIand @Seller_kNAboD6kRgVt7 have said, BUT since you can't enter a tracking number you give yourself a DING in your statistics and Amazon is ALL about statistics.

Greetings!

As others have mentioned, as you did not ship the package there won't be a tracking ID. From a metrics / logistics perspective, hand delivering is generally not a best practice (though friendly and practical) as you miss out on that tracking information and increase the risk of an A-to-Z claim. Some things to keep in mind if you run into this again!
