Amazon A to Z hates Sellers

We have been sellers for over 20 years. This has never been this bad. We are getting surprise A to Z claims, with no prior notification of them and they are all being granted. No logic at all is associated with them. Even though they all show tracking, they are instant refunded. No questions asked. Amazon takes our ability away to notify customers of shipments arriving late. They deny appeals, which is quite evident that our representation is not even read. All canned responses that make no sense. Are they being responded by AI? What kind of answer is "We received your information, however we are standing by our decision" with no further explanation? We recently had two A to Z claims, that we were not notified of prior to decision, both orders using Amazon buy shipping, both shipped and scanned on time and delivered on time, all within guidelines. We have appealed the decision. Case after case filed that goes nowhere with Seller Support, but to be transferred, and never answered. Meanwhile our ODR is taking a hit. This is insanity. Some kind of logic needs to prevail. We matter too, not just buyers.

Why are they arriving late? Prevailing Logic would dictate that you set your transit times for the service you are using to ship to the customer, so that your shipments arrive on time, instead of late.

It shouldn't be. By now, you should have raised your estimated transit times so no shipments are arriving late.

These claims can be avoided if we can communicate with the customer.

If you contacted me and told me my shipment was going to be late, I would most likely cancel my order and order from somebody else. If I was unable to cancel, I would return it to you.

AS an Amazon Customer, I would have ordered from you based on the estimated arrival date you showed at checkout, and as a customer, you are expected to match that date as per Amazon policy.

Not sure they hate us-certainly like our fees of every sort, particularly those storage fees from FBA! I agree they are trying to rid themselves of many existing 3rd parties that can be replaced by ignorant newbies, who are less likely to be a fount of complaints-and the fee% stays the same.

TPTB, to the highest, are micro-managers; assuming they can run our businesses better than we can! Most of 'em never opened a selling account-or sold one item here-or anywhere- on-line. Got their MBA, trained by professors who've never had a job outside of academia; and work/live in the stratosphere!!
