Amazon is stealing our $$$$

Hello -

We have $53,342.00 being held in “Reserve” by Amazon. No $$$$ is being sent to our company bank account. We can’t pay our employees or vendors.

This $$$ is being stolen from us - what can we do to fix ?

Take a short term loan to hold you over until the dispersements begin. If you are a new seller then you have a rolling reserve on your money. You can look this up in Seller University for more information.

If you have been suspended for something else then your options are different.

This is normal in business. Basically your giving AMZ terms until your sales velocity and metrics are established.

Nothing is being stolen.

Businesses typically have suppliers give them terms or use various lending to cover this gap.

Sue Amazon. There are specific lawyers that deal with such matters. I mean amazon matters, google them in your area or online. Then you will get paid and amazon has to pay for your lawyer expenses

If you are perhaps located in Russia this is not Amazon’s fault.

Me ha pasado que retienen dinero, pero siempre lo liberan en la siguiente fecha de pago. Igual puedes abrir un caso en Seller Central

The only time I feel like my money is being stolen is when they refuse reimbursement over boxes clearly delivered to them. It really has me limiting my shipment sizes after their refusal to acknowledge goods lost once received by their warehouse.
EDIT: And let’s think about this deeply. I no longer trust sending in high value shipments all at once, because they can just vanish. “Closed with 0 units received”. Meanwhile the boxes are clearly received, and have weight to them. Lately I have been getting the run-around in reimbursement for a fairly expensive FBA shipment for almost 3 months now. At least this time they are ‘investigating’…unlike other recent events where they immediately say something along the lines of ‘investigation complete’ without even being able to appeal it. This has happened far too much during the past year to overlook. I mean I am now literally afraid to send in shipments of a large value because Amazon is claiming to have received empty boxes?
