Subscription Fee

Hi,

I just activated my account and downgraded it to Individual seller, as i don't want to pay any subscription fee. I am still scratching the surface but Amazon charged me 31 dollars and there will be another charge in Jan - why is it so? Why am i being charged and I have not even started? Can someone help?

You agreed to when you signed up that you would pay the $29.99 + tax monthly fee every 30 days regardless of number of sales. If i'm not mistaken, the status change from professional to individual takes place after the next 30 day period.

Daryl from Amazon here. If you signed up for the Professional selling plan, fees will be charged. You can downgrade the account to the individual selling plan and you won't suffer any fees.

I recommend creating a case with seller support and asking if a refund can be granted, since you haven't sold any items, you shouldn't have a problem getting the monthly fee back.
