Brand owner said he filed me as unauthorized seller, but Amazon labels me selling counterfeit
I mistakenly entered a sole distributor’s territory on Amazon. My inventory is genuine, I received a counterfeit complaint from this distributor. Now, Amazon is demanding a Letter of Authorization (LOA) or a court order. I have no channels to submit my invoice. I asked the brand owner to retract the complaint, but he clarified that he only reported me as an unauthorized seller, not for selling counterfeit products. It is Amazon’s decision to label my products as counterfeit not him.
Is it the case that when using the brand registration tool to report an unauthorized seller, Amazon will automatically categorise the unauthorized seller selling counterfeit goods?

If you cannot provide valid invoices, then your items are considered counterfeit whether that was the complaint or not. You aren't authorized to sell that brand.

Yes. to Amazon, there is no difference. They will not assume liability by allowing you to continue selling, nor to remove the products.
