Please cancel my order

Buyer placed an order on Sunday. The order was processed packaged and shipped that evening. The cutoff time is 8:00 pm. Anything after that is processed the next day by USPS. buyer sends message Jun 2, 2024, 11:26 PM Wrong order. I am thinking what did the mead to order? Buyer emails back Jun 3, 2024, 9:08 AM I have an artistic adult child that ordered this on my phone. I do not want it. It was not my order. I am not ordering $500 worth of juice. I can’t even imagine how much juice that’s going to be to fit in my house. I suggest to the buyer they can refuse the order and send it back. Do I eat the shipping cost or what do I do?

Thats what you agreed to. Customers can return items with shipping at the sellers expense.

This would have passed through my filters and come out as BS.

Why would one let one's "artistic" (I'm assuming autistic) adult child play on one's phone?

Buyers are having to reach further and further...

I'm not sure how the shipping works on a refusal, but FIRST, the customer has to actually refuse it. I can only imagine how this will play out, but my guess is that Amazon will somehow find a way to allow this person to keep the juice AND get a full refund.

Maybe someone else can offer more assistance than my jaded self can.

It truly sucks.. But selling on Amazon means grabbing our ankles several times a time. This is the norm on Amazon. Customers turning their dumb mistakes into your problem.
