Restricted Product Policy Violation Issue
Hello everyone,
Writing about an issue I am currently experiencing, and seems like a few other sellers have written about similar problems recently.
I'm experiencing issues right now with products and inventory being classified wrongfully as restricted products. I think this is some sort of automated issue or error from Amazon. They are stating that one of the products I sell contains an ingredient that is not listed on the product ingredients on the packaging. I've sent photos along with an appeal:
"Amazon has made an error with this product and stating that the product contains the active ingredient "Minoxidil". This ingredient is meant and used for treating pattern hairloss. The problem is, this ingredient has been wrongly listed by Amazon! When you look at the product itself, it's packaging and it's ingredient list, "Minoxidil" is NOT LISTED ANYWHERE! The packaging itself also writes nothing about treating hairloss or pattern hairloss! It only speaks to being a cleanser and helping to maintain existing health of skin and hair. Please review the product photos of this product and see that the ingredients do not list "Minoxidil" anywhere and that the bottles makes no statements about treating hairloss!"
This appeal was denied by what I can only assume as their bot since a real person with literacy capabilities could actually read the ingredient list on the product photos that I provided and see the that the ingredient isn't listed anywhere.
Case ID: 16209514601
I also tried to follow the (incorrect) instructions provided in the reply to amend the product detail page, but I cannot do so because Amazon removed the detail page.
Has anyone had success in making a correction in such a case?
Thanks in advance!
